In December 2009, Senator Burton celebrated his 77th birthday!
Instead of receiving gifts, Senator Burton took the opportunity to provide gifts for all of the former foster youth in the Bay Area colleges and the youth of the organizations that he has continually supported over the years. He threw a birthday party to distribute the gifts and honor these fantastic youth. Check out the photos.
